Welcome to the website of the Society for Industrial and Applied Mathematics (SIAM) Student Chapter at Virginia Tech, the second oldest SIAM chapter in the United States. This website hosts information about our talks and events. Our goal is to promote applied mathematics and computational science to undergraduate and graduate students of mathematics-related disciplines. We provide a platform for students to share their research with their peers, learn from others, and develop networks with current and future mathematicians. Please check back for upcoming events as the website is continually updated!

This website does not represent the views or opinions of Virginia Tech. It is maintained by students associated with the VT SIAM Student Chapter.

Read about past events on our blog, and please contact us through our forum!
